"It's gonna be a long 7 weeks"
at the Admin office on the first day when we (B&F NP student & I) were both waiting to receive our passes. I believe what prompted him to make this acquainting remark was the fervent group of Tudong aunties chatting noisily whilst preparing for our passes.

At first, i thought 'yeaaa.. this is so gonna be a long 7 weeks'
so i decided why not take a picture to remember how i spent my first 4 hours in CAAS CS/IS (Information system) office?

Besides resting my fat head on my dainty hand, i held up my phone to snap whatever was in front of me. Which happened to be
From left: Kok Leong's bottle, Water Dispenser, Photocopy/Storeroom
Kok Leong was the second person i shook hands with, the first being Ruminah.
I was annoyed initially at how much his deep bottomless voice resembled my sister's bf's.
The voice that i absolutely detest waking up to (at home) and now i'm going to have to hear it at work.

*Begins to do some stocking up*
I was moved to the Admin section of the IS office when they realized a Business Studies student would be of no help at the HelpDesk section.
(Helpdesk deals with computer problems around the airport)

CAAS Reception desk's sweet,
yup i was pretty much bored.

NYDC's Irish mudpie and Elephanccino
On a side note, going to work started to become a less difficult aspect to wake up to when after-work plans take shape...

.... and lunchtime topics grew out of just "how's work today?" (:
That, a sweet surprise on my birthday. Involved were a trivial act, tap on the shoulder, lighted candle on slice of cake, B-song, then after lunch-Sunflower, picture, B-song 2.
The picture and commotion after lunch took place outside my office and swiftly caught the attention of my colleagues to hold a round 2 15seconds sing-along session.

Samantha!
and then we got to the final day of attachment.
What didn't surprised me was the reluctance i felt of going back to school :(
Gone will be the days of sneaking around CAAS offices (there're many and NP interns are scattered around) & giggling at a controlled volume at MAXIM mags, sitting around doing nothing/performing brainless tasks and cheekying back with trying-very-hard-to-be-sarcastic-and-funny-and-cheeky office people. (only refering to some)

Joel's antics
" eh, wait wait wait, how's your camera suppose to work "
so we both walked up to him ...... and.. * blinding flash *

It was nearing Ruminah and Mardiana's knock-off time (30mins before mine) so we hurried to take peekcher for a bit.
I REALLY LIKE RUMINAH! She's too cute for her age. Even her Ex-(es) call her up at work to tell her how much they missed her.

Fun's fun but well it's hard not to turn back to old habits
Guiying and I, chilled at the library, went to her house for video games, got our MCs, back to her house to create SIMS out of ..... (he he)

Some walkway between the offices. My colleague Jevan
refer to this place as the 'cartoon-cartoon place'.
Among the stale and greying offices, this totally unrelated theme (Graffiti on right walls and cartoon characters painted on the left walls not in pic) stood out in a doltish way.

Bebe chilling on my keyboard to watch NipTuck with me when i'm home from work.
(My notebook is infront)

Ha ha i bought Ruminah flowers thinking it was really her birthday (sometime haldway thru my internship) cuz she offered me cake and sing-song-ingly said "NUH! My birthday" I even pretended to not acknowledge her birthday so i just said THANK YOU.
Gave her the mini bouquet aft lunch and met with Ruminah's high pitch bird voice (lol)
"Not my birthday! You really thought? Hari Raya la sayang..... hehehee hahahaha hehehehe.."
Ruminah was so guilty after that, she went down to get me flowers too.

My favourite two at IS :)

Ruminah, the not so minah melayu.
She rides a motorbike!

And my pimple just had to burst out of the concealer in this shot HAHA.

My table situated at the HelpDesk for the last 2 weeks. So i was near to all the fun ppl.
The boring old desperate women were all at the Admin side. Okok this comment better be safe.

KX, camwhore and big-time glutton

"Eh, then ni zhuo gang cai wo zhuo de lian zai pai duo yi ci"
I totally love to pout man, i can do it damn well. Chio right my face

AWWWWWWW AWWWWWWWW AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!
Steph taking her hum-ji-at-first step to get to know this woman from Commercial division of CAAS. She's really pretty! I sorta helped her in this, and earned myself a free pizza at Swensons.
A group of us interns went to dine at Swensons, our last meal at the airport together (possibly).
At the end of it all, we all agreed that 7 weeks was waaaaay too fast! B&F guy was wrong :(
i'm sure gonna miss my colleagues, the 7 weeks was not a complete waste of time since many beautiful things were carved out of it.
Better-looking but over-load photos to come in Month of the CAAS (Part 2).
