Genting & KL

Pee-ew, it really is a hassle to arrange the photos in order before blogging. Alright now, let's (finally) begin!


Day 1

8 in the morning, not exactly our time.

2 people looking like they need to take their dumps.

More morning faces.

Lloyd- obviously the most excited one.

And we're on board the bus! to genting :D

7 hour long bus ride. We alighted the bus with a new-ly composed joke- old lady with suckers under her feet.

There we were, waiting for our turn to check-in at First World. View isn't exactly impressive.

While Xiu & Leslie were waiting indoors, Gy lloyd n myself decided to head out for some nice fresh air. There's Gy n i looking rather excited due to the flowers around us. And, well, that's Lloyd looking handsome in his first solo shot at Genting.

After checking in, we didn't had much to do, since we only arrived at 4pm. All we did was walking around quite aimlessly..

Then we found ourselves outside First World Hotel, equipped with our cameras. So the snapping began.

Reckoned that most phillipinos would love a photo taken with that rock. So we, too, tried to appreciate what they would have appreciated.

This! is after Vaan helseng. Note it's Van Helsing. But the Abang Van Helsing had came up with a pronunciation with a better ring to his culture. Picture's not very clear--that's us looking kinky with hats and strapped around Leslie was a ..well hairy beast.

The V.H walk was plenty of screams. And i think the same "monster" keeps coming up to scare us. Bt it wasn't as bad. I was A LITTLE scared. :) Just a little

With props like those around, how could Lloyd contain his excitement! Ugh how real it looks. Heh kidding :)

Inside Ripley's Believe or Not! Thats the chair which belonged to the tallest man alive. Didn't bother to remember his name :D There's space for 1 or 2 more of peiya.

Lloyd's close to filling up the chair. Looks like someone's in need of a diet!

Abang Leslie and I ended the combo thrill with a kick-start to something new and retarded because we were just plain bored. So.. Here goes. . ....

We didn't have credits for the arcade so we could only enact as if we had the credits.

Must admit it was rollin' fun to me though. :)

Night closed in. We went on to explore the exterior of genting/hotel, wherever those were.

We stumbled upon the best-looking part of another hotel at Genting. Looks considerably like a museum.



Having nowhere else to go, we settled down at Starbucks.

Day 2

That was how cool genting was.-- Mist entering the indoor theme park.

Uglyyyy.. If leslie's good at anything, he's good at capturing unglam shots.

Before i forget to mention, we're on the monorail shaped like a caterpillar and of which speed's like a caterpillar too.

We rode on the Cockscrew thrice. The 3rd time, we had a pair of couple ride along with us to make up the minimum of 8 riders. That's us, getting all High. Checkout everyone's subsequent change in positions. Espp Gy's.

Proceeding.. We went to explore the indoor theme park. Rode on the oh-so-fun coasters. Bumper cars. Bla lah. This one's the best ride though. Stupid, but it could be really fun.

After killing time with an innovative impromptu game of --umm, let me give it a name--4Step.Stone.Dance, which lasted for 2 hours if i'm not mistaken.. We climbed into the "spiderman coaster" . Which is, you know, prohibited.

Har- Haaar.!!


After which, we went back indoors and pretty much fooled around. Here's Abang Les n I pretending to be hawkers.

H-h-hellow everyone. Aku Van helseeng :) Too bad we couldn't take a picture with the real melayu vanhelsing.

Day 3

(After breakfast ) Good morning, Genting Highlands!~

Trying to dissipate Genting's fart. Ka KA kaka..!!

One last picture before we left for KL. Aww man, bye bye Genting.

Xh. not too awake after the long bus ride down to kl. (The only picture taken while shopping at KL Chinatown.)

And We're here!! The EYE ON MALAYSIA! Magnificent! --to look at. But not to look out from the inside.

Abang and I spotted some bamboo trees sprouted by the lake.
Oh oh just so you all know, Loy told me that Bamboo aren't Trees. They are in fact grass! The tallest stand-up grass. Fun fact~!

While we were busy with our climbing and eating of bamboo trees, Gy & Lloyd were taking more sane pictures.

Day 4

Twin Towers

"Wow no wonder Malaysians are so proud of their twin towers!" Lloyd exclaimed.

The queue to get tickets up to the twin tower was sooo long. There was an entertainment room in the building which the proud constructors/designers had forgotten to ensure it appeals to not only M'sians.

So it started to get pretty boring for L & I. And here's what we did..

All of us headed out the twin towers. Started to get fascinated by little sprouts of water.

Went on to explore Chinatown at night for good food.

A shot of the last night in the Boys' Room. Xiuhong's in the toilet then, i think. Ok and off i left the room with Lloyd's camera.

Day 5 :(

Last minute shopping at Sungei something after checking out.

Abang: I take you to the kandy shop

Then we're back in the hotel early to wait for our bus back to Ho Hum Singapore

And that was it! Bye Malaysia and Hello O' Singapore :s
Lloyd says Bangkok next time but that's if i get pass my parents again Na-ah-ah!
